To make live an elephant under good conditions, to look after it when it needs some, to nourish it correctly, pay a mahout which occupies and takes care of him, that returns to us from 20.000 to 25.000 baht per month is approximately 400 to 500 euros.

An elephant indeed eats 200 kg of vegetation per day, which requires purchases, organization and handling, a mahout is remunerated 5.000 baht per month and the infrastructures which surround them are expensive.

During the large tourist periods, it is not a problem, but to preserve the convivial character of our éléphantesque reception we are obliged to make the dead end on the “horse-gears with tourists” who would however be more lucrative.

For this reason we require for your participation to conclude our “mission” which consists in plunging you the space of a few days in a nature which could completely disappear if one had suddenly forgotten it.
